Jeremiah DentzList Item 1
Chief Executive Officer

jdentz@generationsic.org
I feel both blessed and honored to serve as CEO of Generations. I am deeply passionate about the power of community and the vital role that community-focused programs and centers play in bringing people together to support well-being and enrich lives.
I was drawn to Generations because of its mission and the meaningful impact it has on individuals and families in our community and beyond. As a resident of Plymouth, I’ve experienced firsthand the strong, deep-rooted sense of community that makes this area so special. I look forward to building on that foundation and helping ensure Generations remains a place where people can connect, learn, and thrive.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our four children, and our dog. We stay active and make the most of our time together outdoors, prioritizing health, connection, and fun as a family.

Meghann WeedenList Item 2
Chief Operating Officer
(920) 892-4858 ext 103
mweeden@generationsic.org
After high school, I worked for 11 years as a sales manager in the cell phone industry. While I enjoyed connecting with people, sales is not want I wanted to do long-term. I left my job to go to college: better late than never! I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and double majors in History and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in Spring 2020. Not the best timing, to be sure. Luckily, I found a position at Generations as a part-time Administrative Assistant. I started here in April 2021, and the rest is history!
I live in Sheboygan with my husband, son, two senior cats, and pet snake. While I have really grown to love Plymouth, I have always been far too in love with Lake Michigan to ever move away from it, so in Sheboygan we stay. In my free time, I love travelling with my family or my girlfriends (especially road trips), hiking, and visiting State Parks. We have a family goal of visiting every Wisconsin State Park and enjoy checking some off our list every year. Two of my favorite road trips were the Lake Michigan Circle Tour and the Lake Superior Circle Tour. I told you, I love the water! I’m also a self-proclaimed ‘geek,’ enjoying games like Magic the Gathering, DnD, and a ton of equally geeky video games, movies, and TV shows. My motto (and my Generations friends can attest to this) is if you’re not weird, you’re not doing it right!
Generations is more than a job to me; it’s a purpose. Non-profit work is the career I didn’t know I needed. Being here every day, connecting with the members, watching the community grow, is really magical. It feeds my soul, to be sure. It is a special place where you feel like you GET to go to work instead of HAVE to, and I am fortunate enough to experience that at Generations.

Joa Cain serves as the Community Engagement and Program Manager at Generations and has been part of the team for the past 3.5 years. Joa earned her bachelor’s degrees in Human Resources and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. Prior to finding her passion in the nonprofit world, she worked as a real estate agent, where she developed strong communication and relationship-building skills that continue to serve her in her work today.
At home, Joa and her partner, Spencer — who is also part of the Generations team — welcomed their first child, August, at the end of 2025. Much of their free time is now spent soaking in every moment of parenthood and watching him grow and change week by week. As self-proclaimed foodies, Joa and Spencer also enjoy exploring local restaurants and establishments throughout the area.
Joa strongly believes in the importance of community and connection, reflected in one of her favorite quotes: “If you are more fortunate than others, it’s better to build a longer table than a taller fence.”

Emily Nelson
Healthy Living Manager

enelson@generationsic.org
Emily Nelson is an advocate of health and wellness. "I strongly believe in bettering quality of life through exercise, movement, mindfulness, and living a healthy lifestyle. I am a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. I received my certificate in 2014 from the Yoga Garden in San Francisco, California.
Chronic back pain and an emergency back surgery in 2010 played a huge part in bringing me to yoga. Yoga has helped me manage my back pain, it has increased my flexibility and range of motion, and given me a healthy perspective on life. I have a background in wellness through completing my degree in dietetics (study of food and nutrition) from UW Stevens Point in 2011."
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with my family. She loves playing golf, tennis, and taking walks with my husband, Nick, along with being a fun boy mom to Knox and Jax.
"I am so grateful to be in this position of Fitness Instructor and Coordinator at Generations. I am excited to be part of this incredible community and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me here!"
