Happy Monday!
It was a big day in the Weeden household on Saturday as we welcomed our new pet snake, Roger. We adopted him from LARRS (Lakeshore Avian and Reptile Rescue and Sanctuary) in Sheboygan Falls. Jacob was absolutely thrilled! He sat and talked with Roger the whole time Chris and I got the enclosure put together because “he must be scared.” And yes, his name is Roger. He came already named by the Rescue. We tried coming up with something else, but were calling him ‘Roger’ by default for so long, it just stuck. Then again, my cats are named Jim and Noodle, so I probably wouldn’t have done much better.
Anyway, moving on. I don’t really have a ton of announcements for you this week. The only thing I can think of is that we are still looking for some power sanders if anyone has any they’d be willing to lend us for a few days. This Thursday is Day of Caring with the United Way and we have a group of volunteers from Kohler coming to work on restoring and redecorating the 5 Little Libraries around the grounds. Fun fact: it’s actually the Kohler Design Team that will be here so we are SUPER excited to see what they came up with for the libraries, but I digress. The important part here is that we are still looking to borrow 3 sanders. If you can help out, we would really appreciate it.
So, without further ado, here’s what’s coming up…
