Good Morning!!

I’m moving a little slow this morning as I was up a bit late last night. The weather was just so beautiful that I couldn’t move myself back in the house! After dinner, I grabbed Chris, Jacob, and Lady (our little potato-shaped dog) and dragged them out to the dog park in Sheboygan. After a couple laps we wanted ice cream, but it turns out EVERYONE in Sheboygan wanted ice cream too. After driving around and gauging wait times, we ended up in the Dairy Queen drive-through. That was OK though because we brought it home and ate on the front porch. Much nicer then dealing with the crowds on the lakefront.

Anyway, just one quick note for you before getting into the upcoming events. Don’t forget that registration for our 11th Annual Golf Scramble and Walk Fundraiser is now open! You can sign up online (www.generationsic.org) or in the office with us. And you don’t need to be a Generations member to join. Everyone is welcome to take part in this event. For non-golfers, we will have a fun walk through Elkhart Lake with a scavenger hunt. The dinner for everyone at the end is a highlight of the event as we all come together, eat, laugh, and watch the awards ceremony, which is just as light-hearted and fun as it can get. If you have questions about the outing, want to join but don’t have a foursome, or want more information on the walk, let us know!

Lots of exciting stuff coming up, for sure! One last note, mark your calendars for the first concert of the Summer Concert Series (sponsored by Cedar Community) on Tuesday, June 20th. We kick off the series with the Carl Laack Orchestra. As a reminder, these concerts are FREE and open to the public. In addition to the great music, there will be a 50/50 raffle, a cash bar, and a brat fry, so you can really make a whole evening of it!

That should do it for today. Have a great week!
